Frequently Asked Questions
We appreciate and welcome your comments, questions and feedback.
We do, however, receive a larger number of messages and requests every single week and Music Entrepreneur HQ is still a small operation.
We’ve done our best to answer the most common questions below, so please have a look before getting in touch with us.
Are you a talent manager? Can I hire you to promote my music?
I am not but I appreciate your interest.
If you require help with finding an agent or manager, you can hire me as a coach and I’d be more than happy to guide you in the right direction.
We also have many valuable resources that cover the subject of marketing in detail:
Music Marketing: This section of our blog covers various aspects of marketing your music.
The New Music Industry: My first book covers touring and live performance, radio, blogging, podcasting, email marketing, social media, YouTube, video marketing and more.
The Essential Guide to Creative Entrepreneurship: In this mini-book, I reveal various tactics to help you promote the art that you create.
How to Record, Promote & Sell Your New Music Release: If you’re new to recording and promoting your music, this eBook is exactly what you need.
Would you be interested in writing for us or appearing on our podcast?
Feel free to get in touch with me through support regarding writing for your blog or publication and/or giving an interview on your podcast.
Would you be interested in speaking at our event?
Feel free to get in touch with me through support so we can discuss the details.
Can you cover my story?
We get requests to cover dozens of stories every single week.
Our top priority is to produce in-house content that’s closely aligned with our brand. Always.
Naturally, we’re curious to know what’s happening in the industry and how tech is evolving. But we can’t promise any coverage beyond publishing your story on our secondary blog, Music Entrepreneur News.
We feel Hypebot and Digital Music News are among the best places to get your story covered. They publish a lot of content on a lot of topics and get a lot of traffic to boot.
Can I be featured on your podcast?
We get many requests and cannot guarantee a booking.
But we still accept and welcome submissions, as that’s how some of our best guests were booked.
So, please contact support and send along any relevant information we may need for the selection process.
Will you invest in my music/business/organization?
Thanks for asking.
If you’re interested in striking a revenue share deal in exchange for my guidance and mentorship, I’d be happy to discuss the details.
Please get in touch with support.
